~17 years ago~

~Normal Pov~
Your small feet carried you as fast as they could and you tried to run from the orcs that were following you. These words repeating and echoing in your head.
~Flashback~
“Ada please don’t leave us.”
“I’m sorry [Y/n] but I must return back to Mirkwood.”
“But what if something happens to mama, or to me” The tall elf looked down at the small five year old girl and knelt down and places a golden leaf necklace around your neck.
“My dearest daughter if anything is to happen to you, run into the forest of the Woodlands and run to Mirkwood for there you will be safe.
~End flashback~
‘Must get to Ada. He will protect me.’ The roar of the orcs could be heard, tears fell down you face as you kept running. You then spotted a tree with big roots sticking out from the ground. Quickly you hid in between the them. You tried to steady your breathing and held the golden leaf in you hands praying that they won’t find you. The orcs stopped and looked around.
“Where did the little wench gow?” asked the smallest of them. You peaked in between the roots.
“She’s around here somewhere. She gowing to be tasty for our meal just like the other little swarts.” Your body shook in fear of the memory of seeing your mother and younger siblings dead. One of the orcs look in your direction and you gasp and quickly moved away.
“ Heh, heh I think I know where she is.” You whimpers became louder with each step the orcs took towards you.
“Come out little girly we only want to eat ya.” The other orcs laughed. One then jumps onto the roots and tried to stab you with a spear. With a scream you scrambled around under the roots to keep away from the Orcs.
“YOU LITTLE WENCH DIED ALREADY!” Then the sounds of horns could be heard. The orcs looked away to see a group of armed  horseback riding elfs  were charging straight at them. You  watched as the elfs started taking down the orcs.
“This is my chance.” Quickly as you could without being seen you crawled out from the roots and began running again but a root that was sticking out of the ground caught your necklace and broke the chain. Your eyes widen and you try to get it but one of the orcs noticed you and you painfully decided to leave it and  ran.

~Caleb’s Pov~
I struck down another orc and when I look up I see one running away.
“All the orcs have been killed.” I looked to the leader of our small group.
“Not all, one ran off.” I pointed into the direction that it ran off.
“Then we shall go after it.”

~Normal Pov~
You kept running but then hid behind a tree. You listened for any noises but there was non. Holding your breath, you slowly you peeked around the tree and see that there was nothing. You let out your breath.
“Peekaboo.” Your eyes widen and you scream as the orc is about to strike down at you with his sword. You quickly moved dodging the attack.
“Oh now you don’t.” He grabbed you leg and dragged you over to him and placed foot on your back to keep you from getting away. “It’s nighty night for you!” But before the orc could strike the orc let out a screech of pain as a speer punctures through his chest, and fell to the ground. The sound of horse hooves awaken you from your shock and you get up and tried running again but the elf’s blocked you with the horses. The leader of the small worriers drops of his horse and picks you up by the the arm.
“This must be the cause of the reached orcs entering to woodlands.” You let out a scream of pain as he tightened his grip on your arm.
“Cora. She is just a child.”
“It doesn’t matter, the little human still tress passed the land without permission.
“She was being chased by Orcs!”
“Let me go! I must find Ada! I need to find Ada!” The elf’s looked surprised.
“She knows Elvish.” The leader starts to drag you over towards his horse. “We little take the little nussents back to Mirkwood, and let the king decide her fate.” Caleb stepped forward.
“Let me take her.” You looked at him with surprise, and so did the leader. He looked down at you and let out a scoff.
“Fine.” He shoved you toward Caleb and you fell face first into the earth. Caleb picked you up, giving you a smile and held you in his arms.
“Ile  ier varna sii' ai er.” You shivers started to stop and you looked towards the Leader and he had his back to you. With a scowl you stuck your tongue out  at him. Caleb chuckle.

~Time skip~

~Your Pov~
I sit in front of the elf named Caleb on his white horsey. I  looked around as we enter the gates of Mirkwood. It was so pretty, it looked just like how Ada had said it looked like.  
“Is me Ada here?” I asked.
“I’m afraid I know nothing of your Ada.” My eyes become sad.
“Is something bad gowing  to happen to me? Am I lonely?” Caleb let out a sigh.
“I’m afraid that I can’t say if anything will happen to you.” He looked down at me. But right now you are not alone.” Caleb takes his big hand with my tiny one.

~Time skip~

~Normal Pov~
“So this girl is the cause of the orcs tainting my forest.
“Yes. When I grabbed her she yelled for help for her father.” You rested your head on Caleb’s shoulder listening to the conversation.
“She is only a child who was scared my lord. She might not have known that she was running into the borders.” Thranduil looked at the child the is held in Caleb’s arms.
“Child what is your name?”  You glanced at the Elven lord.
[Y-Y/n] m-my lord.”

~Present day~

While holding the reins of your horse you looked ahead while thinking of those days.
“Are you alright lass?” You look up at Gimli who looks down at you from his horse.
“Y-yes Lord Gimli I-I am fine.” You glance behind you in the direction your brother should be heading.

~Meanwhile

~Caleb’s Pov~
I followed the group not so far ahead of me. I know that something bad was going to happen., and I will not just stand by.
“If this is my sisters wish then so be it.” I then jump onto my horse and rode off to find my sister among the group of people.

~flashback~

~Normal Pov~
“No please don’t put me in a cage!” You squirmed I Caleb’s arms.
“[Y/n] please you’re just making this harder than it should be.”
“ADA! I WANT ADA!”
“ Your ada isn’t here.” Caleb opened the prison door and dropped you in and quickly closed the door. You looked at him with begging eyes filled with tears.
“I promise that this won’t be long I promise by tomorrow you will be out of there or even sooner.
“I DON’T WANT TO BE HERE AT ALL!” You ran to the back of the prison cell and curls up into a ball sobbing.  “I… I h-hate you.” Caleb’s eye’s seem to sadden.g
~Time skip~
“Caleb.”  Caleb turned around and smiled to his father Nithron one of the greatest captains of mirkwood. He had long blonde hair and brown eyes.
“Ada welcome back.” His eyes widen when he noticed you hiding behind his leg. “Ada?”
“My son this is your sister [Y/n].”

~End flashback~

It took forever to get you to forgive him. But when he did he make a promise to never hurt you and protect you anyway he can.


~Back to you~
~Your Pov~
I have become weary as an uneasy feeling could be felt in the air.
“What is wrong?” I glanced at Aragorn.
“Something makes me feel uneasy.”
“[Y/n]!”
“Caleb?” Caleb jumped off his horse and hugged me. I pulled away and looked at him with confusion.
“Caleb what are you?”
“If I can’t make you come back with me” He placed his hand on my cheek and looked in my eye into my soul. “then I am forced to stand beside you and fight.” My eyes widen as Caleb smiled at me. Tears welled in my eyes and I return the gesture with my own smile.
“Thank you toror'.” Aragorn smiled.
“Glad to have another worrier.”
“Lord Aragon.” Caleb went down on one knee. “It is a great honor to be fighting alongside you.”
“As am I to fight alongside you.” The smile on your face quickly vanished to the sound of agonizing screams of pain.
“We are under attack.”
