Another day had come and gone, bringing to light a new day. The fourth evening had gone by smoothly, with little complications. Altair would partake in conversation every so often ever since the river incident. He even would let her ride side by side with him instead of having him take the lead. It might not have been much, but it made Emily feel happy that a small friendship had possibly blossomed. "Tonight we shall take rest in Jerusalem." Stated the stoic man. Interest shined in Emily's eyes as she turned to give him her attention. "Are you sure?" She asked as Altair nodded, rolling his shoulders to relieve a bit of stress. "Yes. At our current paste, we should be able to reach the city not long after mid-day." He explained. Emily knitted her eyebrows together in thought. "Wouldn't it be wiser to just continue past Jerusalem so that we can arrive at Negev sooner?" Altair turned to her, pulling out a small piece of paper from his robes. “Is it true?” Asked one assassin. He and his assassin brother stood guard at the entrance, chatting away as people went in and out of the castle.
“It’s what I heard. But...” The two men looked to their left where they see young Emily carrying a large basket of fresh produce that needed to be brought to the kitchen. As she walked past them, their brows furrowed in slight doubt. “It’s hard to think that such an innocent child-like her would say such harsh and hurtful words.” Emily let out a heavy breath as she overheard the two men’s conversation.

Sweat fell down her forehead as the sun's summer rays shined down upon her small form. “It seems that your wounds are healing quite well, little miss. Especially for the amount of time that has passed,” said Esmail as he replaced the bandages for Emily’s head wound. Emily nodded in slight understanding.
A week had now passed since she mysteriously showed up in the garden. Her cuts had scabbed over and were showing signs that they were healing properly. The bandages now only cover a few spots and many of the bruises that had littered her body have gone from a deep dark purple to a greenish-yellow. She was even able to walk with only a bit of pain, but it was still heavily advised that she refrained from doing

A new day once again was gifted upon the people of Masyaf as the sun shined high in the sky. The cool morning spring air felt refreshing for those who were out and about. Everything seemed to be at ease, especially for the assassins. The assassins enjoyed the peaceful morning as they loitered, watched, or studied. Many novice assassins littered the training grounds as they worked to improve their skills and impress their brethren.
“Kadar, Hadi, step into the ring and begin your match,” Rauf instructed. St
